Dr. Stuart Springer is dedicated to delivering top-notch orthopedic care. When surgery is necessary, it is primarily conducted at the prestigious Hospital For Joint Diseases – Orthopedic Institute, now affiliated with New York University Medical Center. For over four decades, patients from all five boroughs, Long Island, and New Jersey have sought his expertise to receive the best possible care.
With over 40 years in private orthopedic practice, Dr. Springer specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He co-founded and directs the International Arthroscopy Center at the Hospital for Joint Diseases and serves as a clinical associate professor of orthopedic surgery at New York University. Dr. Springer is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and is a fellow of both the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America, where he has held various committee positions.
Dr. Springer has extensively lectured and taught arthroscopic surgery both domestically and internationally. He has authored numerous articles in journals and textbooks, refining techniques for arthroscopic repair of torn knee ligaments and correction of recurrent shoulder and knee cap dislocations.
